Religious Education Program

St. Mary’s Religious Education Program is held on Wednesday evenings during the school year for 4 year olds through 12th grade. Volunteer catechists attend certification classes for training. Included in the curriculum at appropriate age levels is sacrament preparation for Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.

Registration for Wednesday evening Religious Education will take place after all masses on August 8 and 9 in the Education Center.  We will again be offering classes for Pre-school through 12 grades.  Our classes will begin on September 16.

Registration does need to happen in person.  Families will be asked to fill out a registration form and will receive a handbook with a schedule.  Please bring your insurance information with you.  Forms are available on our parish webpage if you would like to fill them out beforehand. Those not able to register on the listed weekend, may do so in person at the office building during working hours the week following.  Registration at the office will begin August 10 and go until August 14.  Those registering during our select dates will receive a discounted fee.

Here are the links to the registration forms that will need to be filled out for registration

This year we have New Dismissal procedures for grades preschool

Christ Renews His Parish

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a process designed to bring members of a parish together in Christ. We have presented our weekends here for men and women six times each. All of our commitment, including our commitment to Christ, need continued renewal if we are to be faithful.

What happens on a weekend?  Participants arrive on a Saturday morning, pray, listen to stories, reflect on how those stories can relate to God working in their own lives, share some of those insights.  Weekends begin at 8:00 on Saturday morning.  Participants stay overnight at the parish and are served
excellent meals.  The weekend closes around 3:00 or 4:00 on Sunday.  There is no fee for participating, only a free-will offering.

A team of people who have made the weekend present the retreat. The program will continue until every adult in the parish has had an opportunity for this spiritual renewal, which has been so successful in over
600 parishes in the United States.  Christ Renews His Parish will be provided February 27 & 28 for men and February 6 & 7 for women here at St. Mary’s Parish.  Open to all parishioners, age 19 and older.  Call the office to reserve your spot!
