ABSENCES

If your child is sick or tardy, please send a note to the teacher stating the reason he/she was absent during class time.  Phone call are appreciated but a note is necessary for the teacher’s files.

LEAVING FOR AN APPOINTMENT OR CHANGE IN STUDENT’S DISMISSAL

1.  If your child needs to leave class for an appointment, please send a note and pick up the child in the classroom or the office.

2.  Please call or send a note if your child will be leaving school other than the usual route.  Calls to school should be made prior to 2:00 pm so that the message may be delivered before dismissal.  If there is no note or call but a question about where to send the child, the teacher will send the child home the usual way

3.  Children who are going home with each other for the day must EACH have a note for the teacher stating the arrangement.  This is to ensure that the children are where they are supposed to be and that each parent knows their whereabouts.

4.  Questions concerning bus routing changes, relocation, etc are best answered by the Greensburg Administration office at 663-4774.

MEDICATION

All medicines that are to be taken at school must be accompanied with a note stating the dosage, time, and any other specifics about the medication.  Prescription drugs must be sent in the bottle that has the doctor’s directions printed on the label.  (Medication forms can be found in the parent handbook.)

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

Please send any phone number, address, or babysitter changes to the office so that emergency information can be updated.
